What are the differences between the JDM motor and USDM motor? The only differences I know of are the cams and the injectors.. is there anything else?

being ceramic would that limit the amount of boost the turbos could push? And no EGR isn't a bad thing is it? I hear a lot of guys get theirs turned off... especially if it's singled, maybe I'm mistaken though.

Just off the top of my head....

1. Cams are smaller
2. Injectors are smaller
3. Turbos are ceramic
4. Wiring harness is shorter and would need to be extended.
5. Oil Pans (most of the time are a different sump because they don't all come out of supras)
6. No EGR
7. Throttlebody

285hp Jspec vs 320 U.S. spec

Hope that helps!

In addition to the oil pan (both parts and pick up) not matching since most came from something other than a supra, (From experience) The down pipe, both parts of motor mounts. The injectors are 460cc i think instead of 540cc. The ceramic turbos have shown a history of wearing out sooner. And the wiring harness HA, not only is it shorter, but the ecu has a few deferences to include some impedance levels, but also don't think it will just plug in under your dash, you will need lots of diagrams and to re wire EVERYTHING that integrates with the body harness.
I'm sorry, I guess I am a little bitter about my JDM. Oh the trans on the JDM is different too it is the ae340e the mount will need to be swapped, then you need a new tail sub flange (275$) then to cut down the output shaft cas it's a little too long. I am sure there is more that i am forgetting.
