I want to replace the rings and need advice on what else I should change

full rebuild while in there? might as well!

You can't just replace the rings. Look into an upgraded head gasket, possibly bearings, seals, gaskets and the head checked to see if it needs work.

Do you guys know how much it would cost to hone and resurface the block?
