I have recently bought a J-spec motor shipped from japan.
The motor is in mint cond and has about 30,000 Kilo. on it, I have the wiring harness , but the problem is I don't have an ecu. Do I av to get a J-spec Ecu for the motor?, if so how would I go about getting an upgrade computer? or for that matter just a 6 speed ecu that will work.
thanx Jason

The ECUs are different, JSpec is a speed density based motor, while the USSpec is based on MAF...

Also, if the motor is '99+, it has VVT-i, and will not work with a US Spec ECU...
