Hey guys I have a question that i need answered. Ive been searching the forum for a while and ive see the comparison difference between the us turbos and the jdm power wise. I need to know what the turbos actually are. My swap is a jdm supra swap and i need to rebuild both turbos. What turbo rebuild kit do i need to purchase for the jdm primary and the jdm secondary turbo. Your info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you supra members.

ok im still searching and ive seen that they are ct12b's am i correct guys.

CT20A for JDM turbos I believe, and I think CT12B was the USDM ones

ok awsome can you just confirm this possibly so i can oder a rebuild kit plus im gonna need a used primary turbo because i found a couple propellers with broken fins

Otherwise, as has been discussed many times you are actually better off going with a small single setup. This way you only have one turbo to deal with and with a small single you can just run it off the stock JDM ECU.

really id like to keep the twin turbos to just keep it oem for now. I know that going single even if small would be a ton easier. I just want to keep it twin turbo for now and go from there. I still need to know what they actually are though. Are the jdm twins ct20 or ct12b so i can buy the correct rebuild kits.

rebuilding jdm turbos is a waste of your time because you can get a complete set for under $200. im running the jdm's and i love them and their cheap to replace

Or go to Speed for Sale and by the JDM Upgrades (Garrett internals). There good to 500whp. I think they are around $1500 to $1800 range.
