So I know the JDM GTE has smaller turbos and less fuel stock but can the JDM internals handle as much power as a USDM GTE(with supporting mods of course)? I'm talking about something along the lines of a GT47 with supporting mods on both, will I get close numbers? I seen a thread here where a guy made right under 700whp on a stock USDM GTE with a GT47 and supporting mods and was wondering if it can be done on a JDM one.

Yes the internals are the same.
Also, you can't really say the JDM turbos are smaller than the US/UK spec ones. In some regards the JDM turbos are the larger.

the JDM turbos are limited as to the boost they make, but they spool faster.

Here's the info you need, otherwise the rest of the engine is the same (except EGR). JDM turbo's are bigger, they just have weaker turbines due to them being ceramic and smaller wastegate. Rebuilding JDM's steel is far more worthwhile than wasting time rebuilding USDM's.
