Just Dynoed Car Last Night In 46 Degree Temp...497RWHP/527RWTQ...STOCKTWINS/NO NOS

The temp is about 12 degrees colder than when I ran at the track but the results came out good. I did a 4th gear pull like I always did and I now have a intake side cam gear on the car. It did over 470 to the wheels in this temp. Here is a link to my webpage to see the results:

I still have to install pulleys on the car but not sure how much that will actually gain me. Just looking to go 10.99999999 on stock twins/no nos.

Congrats on the impressive runs and dyno numbers!
Have you ever run your car at the strip with the wing, if so what were the times? Hope you can make it down to TX2K2.
Take care, Richard
G
How big of a shot of NOS were you squirting on that pull? j/k :p
That car is a beast, especially for JUST bpu. Congrats on the #'s. Just out of curiousty, if u dont mind me asking, how many +'s do u have and what r they? It sounds like u modded the car properly, not only do u have crazy horsepower, u can also put it to the ground, efficiently!!!
Congrats on your Dyno and Times! I noticed that you have your car lowered, What spring and shock combo are you running? Do you notice any wheel hop? Your pulling awesome 60' times with a lowered suspension.

Thanks Matt

It is lowered 1.5" in back and about 1.25" up front...they are Intrax I beleive. I would have probably went with the Eibach Pro Kit but I got a pretty good price on the kit I have now.

No, I do not have wheel hop and I am running the stock shocks.
How's the ride? Bouncy or similar to stock?

Thanks Matt

It is a little bumpy but since I have not had the stock springs on for a long time I do not know if there is much of a difference or not. I don't recall there being that much of a difference when I did change the springs over initially.
I would like to lower my car but I'm afraid that I'll sacrifice ride comfort and launch capabilities at the track.

The car just looks soooo much better lowered...I really don't care about drag racing that much to sacrifice the looks. I put the stock springs back on the car at one time but it just does not look the same...I had to put the lowering springs back on...just could not stand the look of the car sitting up high.
What 60' times do you normally get and what is your best? You use dr's correct?...and if so what kind?
What kind of dyno did you use? That seems incredibly high for a Dynojet 248C. If you used a Mustang dyno, it would seem appropriate. Great numbers regardless! :)

I just saw that your numbers were on a Dynojet...holy crap! You've got a monster Supra on your hands, and it's hard to believe no NOS was used on those runs. Congratulations! :)

Thanks...and NOOOOO there was not any NOS on the dyno runs...if there was then I would be EXTREMELY dissapointed with the actual dyno numbers.
I have new pics of the dyno runs up on my web page...I got a little shaky on the other pics and these are much cleaner so you can actually read the numbers clearly.

...I really need to do something about that web page name...it is just waaaay to long.

With my last clutch I usually averaged a 2.0 60'. With 4 runs on my new clutch I managed my best 1.80 60'. I use the BFGs . I think 1.7s are easily attainable on BFGs. I will try the ETs sooner or later though.

Congratulations Tony and thanks for doing a dyno in the cold air. I always thought the cold temps helped alot and now we have proof.

i was wondering if someone could put up a link to this thread in the general supra forum section. I think it would get waaaay more replies. I just luckily came across this thread. I normally don't go to performance dyno. Glad I did though.
Congrats Tony!! AWESOME #'s on the dyno and strip. I'm pretty sure you have the record for both for stock twins no nos.
 :D I wanna see you in the tens next!!;)
Great runs Tony,

I swear to god everytime I hear from you that monster is getting faster and faster. Have you ever seen the Vette again? Sure would be fun now huh? Well I don't think were gonna get down there again this year for some fun, so, I'll probable be intouch with you guys again next spring. I'm gonna try to host an event next spring, I'll fill you in with the details. Good job again!!!

Are you going to St. Louis this weekend? If my 2-step was working properly I would probably go myself.
