Finally after so much work on things you can see and things you cant, I finally have my supra at a spot I really love, with so much more to do in my head, I can take a break at least :facesjump

Some of you may have seen it in the red supras thread or on the front page of the .com as well! but i think it deserves its own thread finally :D

To be brief, The car started out as a Ren Red twin turbo auto, and within the last 4 years, I have been able to throw in a pro efi, bW s366 turbo, v160 swap, 3p0 paintjob ( thanks nick! ), battle version suspension links, megan racing coilovers, shine auto skirts + bumper, and even had a nice little straight pipe built!

Ideally i can clean up the interior this year and throw the ridox widebody on there before i get back to the engine!

Now for the visuals!

When she reached the midway point :

then, I started the shine pieces!

I actually really enjoyed the XXR's , as i told Kingerm, i have been having second thoughts of eventually gets the wedsports tc105n wheels, which are what the xxrs are a copy of.

Now, with my new setup :

Oh, and another shout out to rightcoast for convincing me to get the exposed CF, on the sideskirts, you are right i would have regreted it otherwise haha. And in the most recent pics i actually had a buddy detail the car which he did a full paint correction on, I was blown away with the results it looked like glass!

and i know the most common question i get asked , the wheels are

Work meister s1 wheels, matte gun metal center with the hairline brushed barrel finish and gold hardware.
18x10 + 18 R disc up front, and 18x11.5 + 37 out back,
255/35/18 nitto 555 up front, and yokohama advan a048 295/30/18 out back, the rear the fenders are rolled/pulled from before the 3p0 paintjob.

Hope you enjoy the pics! and thanks to everyone on the forum who has given me secret inspiration by surfing the members section for so long.

cheers!

Charles

Im one of those people that hates work meisters but do not take that as an insult. Because your car after the shine pieces with the XXR's is gorgeous. I always look at your car in the red supras owned by members thread and think it looks great at that height with those wheels. And im very picky, few could really pull it off but just looks so right on your car.

+1 vote for you to get those wedsports (;

Edit: literally all you need is to get the lip for the ridox front in carbon to match the sides

None taken! Maybe after I go widebody I will look into the wedsports ;) Which is where i got the inspiration from initially to see what it would look like ( I beilieve its oridos personal car and the wedsports supra ), oh and no offense taken! I really want the cf lip, but man it worries me how low it can get up front, maybe i will need air bags to save these beautiful accesories ;)

which xxr's are those? 527's? offsets?
Yes sir! Xxr 527, 18x9.75 + 20 with the rolls i had 255s up from and 275 's out back, they poked very little and didnt look half bad!

Well done Charles! Your Supra has come a long way and I'm excited to see you've finally reached a spot with your build that you love! I really dig the new look with the Work Meister and Shine kit. Keep it up and I look forward to your interior updates.
Dave,Long time no speak! Thank you for your kind words, you have been one of the few who have known my plans for a while thanks for remembering! i will for sure be posting more pics as I get back to it after a little grace period!

Very nice car, new wheels look great!
Thanks!

Umph! That setup looks STRONG!! Well executed! Looking forward to your next choice in mods. You impress with every change! ;)
Much appreciated! I truly am content with the setup, i love where it is and where its going. I have never owned a sports car before at this level, i hope to really make it an all around awesome build and keep you guys updated.

I am doing a full blownphotoshoot soon with some of my photoraphers and some local supras So stay tuned for that too.

looks great! Glad you did the exposed CF. You have definitely convinced me to lower my car now, pretty much the same body set up. IMO the curves of the Shine bumper and skirts + stock wing really compliment the body of a MKIV Supra. Love the new wheels to man!

Thanks!

Very nice!
Gratzi :)

Charles, the car is a beauty. I just love the OEM wing with the Ridox parts.
Me too! Although, I have a vision of the Full ridox kit eventually, there is something about the stock wing that keeps the flow! Maybe because it is one of the rounder portions of the car while the ridox style adds sharpness.

I love the OEM+ look of your '94. Very clean, and not too "stanced out" IMO

Great photos!

Nick C.
Much appreciated! It is very aggressive, compared to typical supras for sure! But i dont have intentions of crazy raing, just spirited driving from time to time. So i was able to get a big lip on the rear and a solid tire ( i think )! it really turned out how i thought it would look!

K

Which side skirt you have its look soooooo good. Maybe I I will have same.
Ridox style by shine auto, great fitment!

wheel whore ftw!
haha, Only way to do it! I hope to be adding to the collection soon ;)

If you still have plans on going wide body, wouldn't it have been better to do the body work first before the wheels? Even though you selected wheel offsets that reflect your potential wide body program, you can inadvertently create problems for yourself, and your body shop, by getting wheels, as you have done, before you know what your true needs are once the body work is complete.

Ken,

Ultimately Yes, that is the correct way to have approached the situation. However, I trated it more as, considering my fenders were rolled considerably. I wanted to get an offset that would be ideal for the ridox widebody and aggresive enough to keep me happy if i do not go that route. So when we calculated the offsets we came up with something that to me, felt right the way it looks now, and would be just appropriate with the ridox widebody with a more proper tire ( 305/315). So it is taking a bit of risk, but if for whatever reason I can't come to terms with cutting the car up, I am still happy with the current looks.

I treated this wheel setup with the attitude of making the car fit the wheels as opposed to making the wheels fit the car. ( Which again, is the correct way to approach it, I just wanted to take a chance ).

I am not building this car to race, but as i have mentioned more so i want to create something that looks really good ( How i have it in my head ) and can be enjoyed for occasional spirited driving. I plan on keeping the car at around 500hp and just make it fun and I think so far, its really lined up the way i saw it!
