While cruising on the highway I down shifted and let loose! I redlined my supra and then shifted to fourth. About three seconds after shifting I noticed a puff of smoke come out of my exhaust, it only happens when I let loose, WOT, and it only happens about three seconds after I shift. It may of happened since I bought the car, 98TT 6speed, 8 months ago, but never noticed until this weekend. What causes this and is this normal?
I have a BPU++, FMIC and AFC and HKS SS BOV!

The smoke is whitish and if it was carbon wouldn't the smoke be more black?? Just wondering b/c it seems like too much!

Is it a fix or a rebuild?
Rebuild.

Or else it could be valve seals. But I believe valve seals only gives the smoke upon startup. Your car is a 98 correct? I'd ask someone more knowledgeable on this board, certainly isn't me.
