Just interested to see how many guys out there got kids and if their involved in their car's (or like them). I know we're all kids at one point... so don't post a pic of yourself. :)

If your like me... I loathe(sp) the days my son (did I mention he's almost 3?) talks gibberish about daddy's car. :) He's into the tools, pulling hoses, shit... just about anything he can get his hands on while in the garage. lolz

Well, here's my personal favorite(s) of my son Patrick:

or this one... driving lessions 12yrs too soon ( as he's saying "let's see how much boost daddy's car can handle" )

For me I am the kid (haha), the car really is technically my dad's though I do most of the research and we work on it about equally. I've been there through it all, looking at the car, getting the car, blowing the HG, fixing the BHG, buying stuff off of the internet, working on the car. I love this car.

I have 2 soon to be stepdaughter's. (fiance's Kids) The Oldest is 14 and the youngest is 11. They love going for a cruise in the "racecar" as they call it. They enjoy going for rides and stuff but not that interested in fixing things. I try to get them more involved as they will be driving in the not to distant future. I want them to be as knowledgeable about cars as possible as it is one of your major purchases when your growing up.

As for driving the supra, with me in it yes, on their own no. No kid at 16 should be handed the keys to a 300+hp vehicle. They can take the truck or their mom's tercel. :)

When they get there own cars, i'll push for them getting supra's (I fear it will be something like a honda) and mod them from there. Can't get away from the modding bug. :)

I've never seen anyone with that heatshield(?) below that light blue brake "thingy" <--technical lingo ;)
It's not a heat shield. I have one too, it covers a u joint in the steering linkage thingy, so I assume it is to keep debris from falling into the joint.

I have the exact same pic as the top one only with me standing there. (Doesn't everyone?)

I've never had my block out of the car, so no... but if I ever did take it out, I'd have a pic like that, no question. ;)

Okay, that does it... I'm breaking out scanner and scanning in the Fathers Day pictures that my daughter had given me. There's 2 of them with her behind the wheel of my car. She loves it. (Of course she doens't get to ride in it much)

Still, gotta love the "1 toddler power" pic!

funny that... about 15 i started learing about cars (some stuff i already knew) and i got my first supra blown up at 16 since then i have taught my dad quite a bit and got him involved in working on it.

and i agree never hand a 200+ hp vehicle to a 16 year old i am the exception though :p

wrecked my 350rwhp 89 and currently goin for 450rwhp maybe 500 if i get an intercoooler

i am runnin 15psi and it aint nearly enough for me (yes i am sick)
