As you may know they recently tied with or slightly beat that porsche. The porsche beat the McLaren F1 by 1 or 2 kph but only held the record for a brief while, the koenigsegg now has it.

Sorry, Dauer 962 still holds the record for a production car (although very limited production). Does anyone remember that magazine article several years ago interviewing Koenigsegg? I forget which magazine but, he actually originally claimed his car would do 300mph.

The porsche dauer is probably not a production road car, but a homologated race car.
