I spotted a lime colored Lamborghini Murcielago yesterday heading home (Great Falls area) around 8:00pm. He was heading east on Rte.7 towards Tysons corner.
Any chance it was one of you guys in your daily? (HaHa)

Yeah, you would have better luck seeing him on the Southern State in NY, my cousin has seen him a few times in the Murcielago and even once in his Mclaren F1

Seeing a Lambo in Great Falls is kinda like seeing a pickup truck on a farm. Exaggeration to be sure, but it's an odd place like that. On the south end of Great Falls/McLean near Route 7, there is a dude I used to do loans through who has 4 NSXs parked there. Last time I checked 3 of them were yellow. And that is at his home/office, not where he actually lives. I don't want to know what he had in his home garage. It's that kind of place...although the lime is definitely an interesting color choice even for there.

i've seen several very high end cars on georgetown pike in great falls on a nice sunday afternoon. f40, carrera gt, gt2's, ford gt's, handful of modena's, many vipers, etc. it's great driving through there and seeing those caliber of cars. never seen a lime green mrucielago.

I know what you guys mean about the common sightings in Great Falls. It's still a very rare car/color combo.

fuindustries - I think I know who you are talking about regarding the NSX's. I've seen several at home in McLean, its the first right after you pass the toll road heading west. His house is on the left hand side.

Just as an FYI, there is a home owner near the Baron Cameron intersection and Rte 7 who has a 97-98 Red Stock Body MKIV TT. It never seems to move from his driveway. I wonder if he would be open to offers?

chicks: I imagine the lime color would be stunning to see in person, must have been a shock to your eyes :) That's the guy off of Lewinsville Rd; "Trent" loves his NSXs. I see more exotics around here than I do MKIVs...so it is pretty cool when you see the lonely Supra hidden in someone's garage or driveway. Unfortunately they usually seem to be as you described that one, sitting in one spot for a long period of time and not necessarily being taken care of...sadly.

fuindustries - Are you going to the Chick-fil-A gtg? Sounds like there may be a few Supra's rolling up there around 9 or 10? If so let me know and we can try to meet up. It looks like Skip n His Dawg? may be there as well. My attendance is of course always pending the 2 kids at home!

I know the NSXs you're talking about! I was driving the place one time and I had to do a double take to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.

chicks: I can't guarantee I will be there due to the inspection issue. I could have sworn it was good through June, but 6 months in the shop and I almost forgot what the car looked like let alone when the inspection was due. I hope to make it out once the kid & wife are in bed. Hope to see you there.

Supraman116: It is a cool sight as you pass by, gives you whiplash. I jokingly asked his son one time why his dad was a ricer...I just got a blank unknowing stare back. So I think he just likes yellow flashy things, who knows.

fuindustries - I totally understand. Hopefully you get it through inspection in time to make it out there. I'm also in the same boat, I have to get the wife and 2 kids in bed before I can roll out.

Just as a side note to you all the NOVA folks, FFX County Cops were working the Tysons Area - 2 Bikers and 2 or 3 cruisers - looking for speeders and/or checking tags this morning on the way into work (7:00 am). They were sitting in the middle sections of Rte 7 watching cars go by.

chicks: Yep, you know how it goes :) While we're on the Cop-Watch subject, one of my buddies said that he saw some racket going on over on the east VA side of 495 last weekend. He was hazy on the details, but the gist was that there was a new body style Mustang (black & tinted I think) playing with cars that were up for racing. Then the 'Stang would whip on its lights, escort the guy to the side and drop them off for a cop tailing him to issue the ticket(s). Not sure if this is an old or new scheme, but either way it's something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the caution, I don't think I have to worry though. Unless its a cobra, I usually don't bother with the standard GT's. (HaHa) I will say, I have seen more troopers in unmarked domestic sports cars like mustangs and GTO's in the area looking for people acting crazy on the roads.
