Has anyone found an upgraded fuel feed banjo and union bolt for the stock fuel rail? I found a diesel magazine article that replaced Ford OEM 7.3L union bolts inside the banjo to MASSIVE fuel ports (holes and bore) inside the union bolt. Seems to provide more flow and still retain the banjo. Otherwise, -AN fittings are the alternative upgrades.

In my experience, fuel upgrades are OEM hardline restriction related. First thing is setup the fuel system in the bay to be filter>rail>FPR>tank. FPR dictates fuel for the system being at the end of it. Adjust pressure and INJ size to fit.
Upgrade pumps for more flow. When the OEM hard lines between the tank and filter are a choke, bypass them with -6 or -8 depending on the number of pumps and fuel rails.

Is that a restriction on stock fuel systems?
It could be a flow restriction. That banjo seems pretty small, and I haven’t seen the OEM union bolt compared to a high-flow aftermarket bolt. I can’t just say it isn’t without empirical data.
