You still have the stock clutch or aftermarket? Try launching around 4500 rpm and slowly let out tyhe clutch, don't spin and sit, spin and go. If your rpm drops to like 2000 then you're letting the clutch out way too fast. The trick is to find the spot where the clutch is engaged just enough to get the car going but at the same time not letting the tires/traction bogg your tranny.
