I bought some Black leather seats for my Mk3 and I need to know how I go about cleaning them. The leather itself is in good shape, but what can i use to clean them up and then make them nice and shiny. I ask this cause all my cars have never had leather...So whatever suggestions you have let me know please thanks! Joe

Most leather products that make leather shiny do so by just greasing them up, but they do nothing for keeping the leather soft. If you want something that will actually be good for your leather try some Lexol cleaner and conditioner. Nothing works better at keeping the leather looking and feeling good.

Just make sure it's a mild soap. I myself would use straight water, then use the Lexol cleaner, and then the Lexol conditioner.
