That would be me. I forgot what the stuff was called but i got it from a distributor that only sells to furniture companies. The dye is used for actual leather sofas and chairs. The good thing is the dye worked great, 3 easy steps. 1)wash with soap and water (make sure to get all the soap off. 2)Spray some leather promoter ($10) 3) paint till its black with a special brush ($2) I used 4 coats over 3 days. You could actually do it all in one day. It only takes about 20 min. for each coat to dry. I just had no time so it took me 3 days. 1 bottle ($40) did both of my back seats with paint to spare. The bad thing is, they dont sell to general public and they dont ship. Its also a couple of cities over (about 40 min) so i cant just shoot over and pick some up. I will post some pics once I get home. It looks and feels great. Its been on for about 2 months now and still looks good. The back seats dont get much action, so back seats are no problem. It might be different for the front? At a recent Supra meet, some guy came in with his rear seats actually painted blac
\lakas LBRspyder, what did you do about the plastic trim that's on the seat? Was that painted too?
