Ok to add on to big T setters thread, I have my own problems as well now.

I have cut the body connectors off a spare JDM harness I had laying around I dont know why it has 87 connectors since it was a 90 engine?? Anyways, they all fit the 7m harness so here goes... I need the mappings all

I need the colour of your JZA70 harness (since I dont have body connectors form a jza70) I think there is one more harness that I saw but didn't cut since it was only 2 wires.

Anyways HELP!! What wires so i need to take off the JZA70 harness to refrence to these connectors?

I have a 87 Turbo, tems, cruse control, AC ect... I plan on keeping them all! Can someone help here?

I also need teh 87 Pinout wires since I can't find them ANYWHERE in my 87 tsrm I'm guessing it must be in the electrical wiring diagram manual.

Help!!

I'm a fuc%ing fool for selling my 7m 87 harness before doing the swap.. I think I don't have enough pins on my white body harness becaues I have TEMS and ABS the one I have doesn't have provisions for this.

BTW Robert,

I saw that but they are for 89+ cars.

do you have the dash connectors for the 1jz, if you do you can swap those out with your 7m ones and just plug it right up, but its gonna be hard to work around the glove box unless you take it off. i used arnouts website for the pin layout for the pre 88, he has both on his website and then i prinited out the pin layouts for the 1jz dash connectors off of www.1jz-gte.us and just matched them up

I did it using Arnout's site and Rick's site. Arnout has the corresponding pins for the 87 plug to 89 and Rick's site has the 89 to jza70 plug. What I did was this: Refer to the example picture below. I know from Arnout's site that the 87 pin 1-b1 is the same as the 89 pin 11-b1. I also know that the 89 pin 11-b1 should be connected to the jza70 pin 5-ihi, according to Rick. Therefore, my 87 pin 1-b1 should be connected to the jza70 pin 5-ihi. Hope that makes sense.

Okay Eric...this is my jumper harness with the 87 connectors mated with the 1jz connectors...I know there is black tape and you can't see wire color, but at least you can see what connector goes where.

mine somewhat looks like that but i didn't have the 1j dash connectors so i just fused the 7m dash connectors to the 1jz harness and got rid of those other plugs. either way works :dunno:

You can't follow the M1 plugs exactly but the colors are very similar.

Did you get M1 figured out yet?

If i only had the fucking 1jz body connectors....

I need to know where the body connectors go to on the 1jz and then what wire it maps to so I can just solder it stright to the 87 body harnesses... I think i got most of m1 done well pretty much.. B1 i have no fucking idea it looks like all AC stuff and the white connector looks like all trasmission stuff.

Anyways, I have these connectors that arn't connected to anything?!

What are they used for?
http://www3.sympatico.ca/zazzn/pics/temp/1jz2/

also I have a LOT of unconnected diag box connectors that I have no idea what they connect to.. All my ECU harness pins are used except for 2....

Another question, I have all the grounds for the injector clips none of them are hooked up.. what gorund are they hooked up to? ECU or intake?

On the injectors all 6 black wires join together and go to the ignition switch IG2(black/orange). The other 6 wires to the injectors should be in groups of 2. Injector's 1 and 4(white/blue) tie together and go to #12 pin on the 26-pin connector of the ecu. Injectors #3 and #5(white/red) go to #11 on the 26 pin and injectors #2 and #6(white) go to #25 on the 26-pin.

For B2 I need to know where the black RR+ signal for abs comes form?

Where does the tach signal come from on a 1JZ? On the 7m it comes straight from the Igniter. In the EFI diagram for the JZA70 it doesn’t show anything.

I guess the defogger wire isn’t needed on M1? Do I eliminate it? I will need it here in Canada.

Now the Black blue wire on B1 connector that is supposed to go to the switch to jump the starter motor right? And that s a one pin connector that kinda clips on if I’m not mistaken.

Can someone explain the resister thing to me… I understand everything except for the 1-6 orange thing. http://www3.sympatico.ca/zazzn/pics/temp/1jz2/after.bmp

I got almost all of b1 wired up I think I’m missing the 1 AC VSV wire yellow black.. not sure where that comes form.

There are 3 extra wires unsued says open on arnots site but they are used in my connector just wondering if anyone knows what they are.
