I see SPEC has a "light weight" option for their clutches. Is this a good idea? Are there any side effects? Is it still as reliable?

i looked into that when i got my SPEC clutch and decided against it because i was also installing a lightweight RPS flywheel. the flywheel+pressureplate assembily would just be too light and the engine would probably bog with clutch engagement during normal city driving.
if youre looking to reduce rotating mass then it makes more sense to get a light flywheel.
