Im looking to pick up a set of slicks and was curious on how far you can go on 26x10.5x16 et streets? What kind of 60's are expected? What ET's can be achieved and how much hp can they typically hold. After a lot of searching and reading I still can't find my answers.

Im forced to stay with a 10.5 slick for many of the classes I intend to race and Id prefer to keep my TT rear brakes so 16s are my only option. Looks like MT and Hoosier dont offer any other sizes anymore either.

there is one pass but not as good on the 60ft as the one i wrote.

That's the standard CCW drag pack tire -- plenty of guys have run them very successfully into the mid 9's.

i went a 1.43 60' and [email protected] in the 1/8 mile, so i would say around 800 or so on an auto car.

I went 9.8 with a 1.5 60 on a 71mm 6 speed car. I still had some power on reserve and some more psi to let out of the tires.

They are great for about 20 passes, then throw them out. When they go south, they REALLY go south. Great tire though.

Back from the track, Did a 1.6 60ft on the M/T ET streets.. Thats at around 320WHP through a Auto and 2500 stall converter

No its a LSD 4.30 rear end. Cut a 1.660 60ft and ran a 12.7 @ 106 on 11 lbs

oh ok. I was asking because my doesnt have an lsd so im assuming i wouldnt be able to get good 60ft times with the ets.
