Just got finished swapping out my clutch and rear main seal and i start the car back up and it starts idling terribly. When i drive the car it doesn't want to go over a few lbs or past 2800 RPM in any gear but air/fuel is fine up until then.
When we were pulling the tranny out we dropped it down without unplugging the few sensors on the tranny and it pulled on the wires fairly hard i don't know if that would have anything to do with the problem.

Car drove fine before we replaced the clutch, made 601 on 20lbs 93 oct. dynojet SAE

I currently don't have any codes and am getting 40lb of fuel pressure at idle.

Mods are
PHR Stage 1 Fuel system, had a wire that was a little loose but fixed it.
Geforce Ecu
Safc2
BCC
6765 Billet

Checked plugs they are a little old but nothing terrible

Don't know what else to do or check.

I an take one tomorrow. It's not like a gradual won't rev up anymore it's just fine then brick wall out of nowhere

Did you reconnect the ground on the tranny?

The one that is on the fuel filter? That connects to one of the bolts on the tranny?

It's possible. I've seen the same issue with a mk3 and that ground wire was the remedy.

Wired that ground back up between tranny and fuel filter, pulled ecu fuse and still no change. Here is a video

The times it only went to 2800 i did wot but it did go over 3000 when i gradually rev

Got my hopes up someone knew what my problem was, lol i believe the sensor messed up taking my modified hanger out so many times.

Someone's done something else beyond what you're stating because there's nothing near the tranny that I can think of that would cause that kind of poor idle. It almost sounds like your car is misfiring, have you checked all the basics like spark and injector pulse?

I replaced spark plugs with NGK 4644 gapped at .25 only other thing i did was remove my sub box in the back and had to fix one of the wires on my fuel system (the wire that goes from the pump ecu to my relays)

I have heard alot about TPS sensors being bad, so i started the car and unplugged the sensor and idle didn't change at all. I have not checked either

tps is bad...this happened to me and i got a new one...if you unplug the tps it will not let it rev past 3k just like you said

I replaced tps, and no change sprayed some brake cleaner on the iacv to try to clean it up and didn't help either
Also tried stock ecu with no change, unplugged maf to see if it was working and car got even worse

How did that happen when you did tranny work, you might have to go check out everything on the front of the motor now.

We were turning the crank when we were bolting the pressure plate back to the flywheel i guess, i drove it and it's doing fine
