Whatever floats your boat. I probably would stick with a fully built 7m too since I have an 87 which makes JZ's harder.

Someday though ;).

I'd take a used 2jz over a fully built 7m anyday if the 2jz was as easy to swap in as any 7m. the 2jz has the right stuff from the factory that no amount of aftermarket monkeying with on the 7M can replicate

A long time ago, enthusiasts have always said.... "They're only bullet proof, when they stick the JZ in there..."

So forth... but I believe the 7s breathe better.

YOU ARE MAKING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU HAVING PAISLEY DO THE WORK. Those assholes took 10 months to build up my motor and when I got it back I had to do it all over again. They have no idea what the fuck they are doing and the cost me a lot of heartache and wasted money. I have so many horror stories from that place it is unbelievable. I just got finished putting a new set of bearing in my car, they didn't even know enough to put the correct bearings in my car. PAILSEY AUTOMOTIVE SUCKS!!!!!

Cams?
Just go with NA cams, as they seem to do a great job on the dyno and they are cheap! (I bought mine from NAPA for like $232 a pair!!!)
As for aftermarket cams, talk to Web Cams, or hope and pray you find a set of HKS on ebay for under $500.
