The car was in the shop for the past 4 months so I had my cousin come over and work his magic detail expertise. After seeing his work on his brother’s car, I was shocked at how superb his skills were.

So in the hours of 5pm and 12am today the car went under a transformation. Words can not express how happy he has made me. The car literally looks right off the show room floor. He said my paint was in good condition to begin with which made the process easier, however this was some hard work. At times you felt like rushing through it but had to control yourself and take your time while your back is in pain. When you love your car to a level like this, you want it in the best condition possible I guess. He did the majority of the work while I did what I could do to help. Here is a kind of start to finish photo journey. Enjoy guys.

PS, Thanks cousin.

Start:5pm

Before, After.

Night falls.

Almost done.

12am: Complete

I will get some more photos up in the day time this week. Thank you for looking!

Thank you guys.

Infernoo, the lights he is using shows ever single flaw on your paint. Never thought mine was this bad until when he showed me, I felt ashamed. But never will it look like that again.

If you do not own a porter cable, I really recommend one. Also the right compounds and other products. Great little tool to have around the house.

yes, post up materials used and maybe a quick technique overview? It'd be nice to see some pics of it in some good lighting now, cause even in that not-so-flattering light the paint looks amazing!

ya I want to know what's used as well. That's crazy with the before and after. I hope you gave homeboy some $$ or at least some beer and dinner.

Cody, haha you are so right. I tried to give him a nice amount of cash but he refused to accept so I am actually taking him out to a nice lunch today, also we found this shop not too far from us which sells the quality detailing products he likes to use. i am going to buy him a bunch of things to say thanks.

I will try to get him on here so he can share his technique, he is most of the time on the other website forums for detailing.

I'm really digging the stock wheels with a 47-80, that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :) If ever a supra could be a sleeper, it's your car.

Great job and give your cousin a big pat on the back. I'm sure all the local supra guys will be knocking his door down now wanting their cars done :p

WOW that looks incredible! Good job on the detail work... what turbo is that exactly and how do you like it on the street? Give us some details... ie. motor, spool on the street on pump if you run pump that is and any other details you may want to share... Also what Porter Cable model do you have? I've been wanting to pick up a good buffer and everyone says go with the P/C but when I looked into them they had a few to choose from so if you could let me know which one you used are the one your friend recommends I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Joe
