Yah I agree.. that turbo and that amount of displacement should be putting down much higher numbers than that.. probably just a low boost run or something because that can't be all that thing has.

No it isnt, You can only run a certain amount of power in that class.

u might be right, its like a 6 liter stroked out V8 prolly only needs like 30psi, but still even if u compress the air a little bit it still makes heat, maybe they run so much boost that intercooling it would just cost them with a pressure drop and boost lag...hmmm someone answer this for real please it always bothers me. thanks

No they run stupid amounts of boost but just use an air/water intercooler the size of a human in the passanger seat.

 

If they don't have an intercooler.. they're probably running methanol or some sort of alcohol, etc.. it'll only be 6.xx seconds of the car running without one. John Shepherd doesn't run an intercooler anymore in his Talon... straight methanol.

 

No there is a monster W to A IC in the passenger seat. About the size of a mini fridge.

lmao, it is dynoing on slicks and is still blowing the tires off through a powerglide i'm sure. Put that motor on a motor dyno and it would prob. dyno over 2500.

 

I like how the ENTIRE car lifts up as if trying to launch into orbit.
