yeah but at the same time you may want to modd this "YOUR" way...

i guess it depends what you want to do to it and if the car alreadsy has it done then go modded... otherwise.. stock.

i've noticed that modifiers tend to fix things by putting stress on the parts more than a stock one and will most likelyt have been changed prior to a sale. :)

Buy a modded one if you can. It will save you tons of money. You can always add on other things to compliment the existing mods.

free cat? hehe

buy a modded car, but get it checked out. chances are if its modded, they already blew the HG, and they already fixed it. with a stock car, you dont know if they drove it nice or if they beat on it, and unless they have full receipts, you dont know...

depends on how financially secure you are. Have all the money in the world? Buy stock. Search the couch cushions periodically so you can pay the cable bill? Buy modded.

Buy mod, the money amount in mods loss by the previous owner is amazing.
You can get a Supra with 20K in mods for 6K-15K, plus it is done, and you can do any other mod you want. or go for a MK4:D

Unless the engine was rebuilt with stronger components or a bigger turbo was installed, there is no point of buying moded Supra

Stock one will be cheaper and all basic mods can be had for less than $1000, also if you buy a car from olderly person you know it's unlikly it was abused at the track or street raced, where as if you buy moded Supra most of the time it's a younger owner who done all the above things.

Personally I buy Supras with no engines, so mods play a very minor role.:D

Personally, I will NEVER buy a modded car again. Not even if the only mod is a speaker change. Every car I've gotten that's been modded looks good, until I dig into it, and find that the installation has been done ultra ghetto. I say buy stock. You'd be surprised how little attention is paid to detail by 99% of people who install aftermarket components (whether it be stereo or performance).

try and find one that has already had a metal head gasket put in, will probably save you alot of cash.....then again it may not have been done right, and won't be worth it... too many things to consider..

i bought mine with a catback, k&n fipk, and hardpipes

i know i saved a lot on it, especially the hardpipes

but the only problem is that i wish i knew how much faster my car is now than it was from stock.

its also fun to see what each individual mod does, and how it changes the car

that's how i got mine. an older gentleman who took very good care of it, but still had fun (told how he got a ticket doing 15 over on the way home from buying it!) with it. it's solid.

bought mine STOCK! Didn't even have an intercooler, lol. Now it's getting alot of mods put on it. I guess I must be one of the guys that put mods on but do not care to go over 100 mph. I really want to keep mine around for awhile. I guess that's why it's my "hobbie" car.
