Hey guys, my targa holders in the trunk suck. Basically whenever I hit a significant bump and the targa is in the trunk the rear holders (near the lights) drop and the targa rubs against the holders scuffing the paint.

I'm on stock suspension and it still does this so I'm guessing that some of you gents will have dealt with this problem before, any suggestions?

loose targa holders

I have the same problem, so what i did was place some soft material under the targa and the carpet at the front holders near the top side of the rear fenders to make a tighter fit , this way the targa fits in the front holders more snug, stops almost all looseness in the holders

I drilled th holes and then filled them in partially with a rubber cement type material to give the little cone something with more friction to grab onto. seems to work fairly well. I have to take a look at those springs I might just get some new ones...thats a good idea. stretching them also seems pretty smart.

For those looking for an easy solution....throw a pillow under your targa back there. It will deform so that it basically just fills the space under the targa.
