Just got home from the dragway. Until now, I've only been able to hit an 11.86 at 121, which was last weekend with a 1.9 60'. I am still on the stock fuel, with a T-58 turbo running 21 psi.
I decided to pull my ECU fuses for the first time at the dragway, to see if there would be any difference and I put in 2 gallons of 104 unleaded with 1 gallon of 93.
So, I was able to get 1.8 60' on my DR's, 295/30 or 35/R18. By the time I was at the 1/4 I was over 7k rpm's. I trapped at 125 mph with a 11.3 run!!!!
I was so amazed that this turbo could do such a thing. So I might just keep this turbo, and do all of my track time with it. It seems to be doing a lot better now.
But, my 1st gear is popping out more often now. Time to get it send to Jay to get my Getrag rebuilt.
