Inspired by my earlier thread of the guy who replaced his blown Ferrari 360 engine with a LS7, and MNIVET's thread with his cool LS1 powered Miata. I wanted to post other cars and trucks that have undergone any LS swap, any LS from LS1-LS9

Feel free to add if you have any

1999 Camaro Z/28 (LS9)

2004 Infiniti G35 coupe (LS2)

Also that LS9 Camaro is retarded. The motor is almost 3 times the price of that car lol.
That's GM Performance Part's test mule. I think they chose it because other than being their mule to fool with, the odd size engine compartment makes swaps like this very difficult. This exact car previously had a dry sump LS-7 squeezed into it just to show what they could do, and I guess they are just taking it a step further now. I agree though that it would be crazy to spend all that money on that engine and that swap just to put it into a cheap 4th gen. You'd have to be obsessed with that particular car to throw that kind of money at it, IMO.

Negative Ghostrider, it was a custom Chevy small block not an LS7.
Go back and read the description. It says that it was a Lingengfelter 427. On Lingenfelter's website the only 427 kits he has are LS7 based so that is where that came about. The article was vague. But if there is concrete evidence that it was a custom small block then I apologize for the misinformation...

Damn man. This is actually killing my idea of swapping a Lsx into my riviera in the future :(. Hmmmmm Viper engine is relatively right around the same price range :).
It should be the other way around martel! Thought this would motive, it got me thinking about a lot of other cars
