Hey everyone im new around here dont post often but i had a few questions. First, what is BPU? I know what it stand for but is there any set definition of mods you need to consider yourself "BPU"?? Apply same question to BPU+, ++,etc.... Next, approximately what 1/4 times do each classification run? I know driver, track, track prep, weather and how the poor sob holds him mouth all affect this but i just want ballparks. This is all just to help me out reading about your cars and also so i know what to expect when so and so pulls up in their Supra and says "yeah im BPU +++++++++++++ wanna go from a 70 bump?" :D Anywho you get the idea. Thanks. Peace.

BPU includes the parts mentioned in the attached post, but the boost needs to be 17psi or greater to be considered BPU. On street tires (no drag radials) a well driven BPU 6-speed will get a 2.1 60' and run around 12.5 @ 117mph. A BPU+ (with FMIC) will typically run a 12.2 at around 120mph. An Auto will typically be quicker with a 1.9-2.0 60'. With dragradials, a BPU+ car will be in the high 11's.

Later, Steve
