MAF Sensor...Round and Square?

I was wondering what year's had the round MAF instead of the ugly square one that the 94 has. I was also wondering if I could buy one of these and have it work on my 94. Thanks and LMK

i think either the 96+ or 97+ have the round MAF. anything else is the damn square MAF.

The afm's aren't interchangable... the rectangular ones are Karmann Vortex and the round ones are Hotwire.

Dave, could i but a hole in a piece of piping and used the afm that way? thanks and lmk
