Magna Fuel EFI 625?

Okay well I have ditched the walbros and have bought a Magna Fuel EFI 625 and sumped the tank. Anyone have experience with these. They seem too good to be true. They flow 3 times a walbro and only require a -8 feed and -6 return.

Pics? Links? More info fellow Canuckian!!
They claim that its quiet, how quiet is it?
Wanted to see if anyone else has gone this route, I intend to make a purchase of one in the next two weeks....
Seems to good to be true. I would love to hear the results though.
i have a new in box i was trying to sell. wouldn't mind seeing a review on them. is it self priming? how quiet is it.?
hope your results are good. best of luck on the dyno.
I saw these and figured it was too good to be true - bought a Weldon instead :\

rule of thumb

if the fuel flows THROUGH the motor. It is not self priming (aeromotive, this one etc).

If the fuel flows through a self contained armateur that is seperate from the motor, then it is more than likely self priming (ALL weldons, BG King and Sumo EFI pump etc).
^^^^Ummm...how come in the product description it says "Self Priming" ?????

ProTuner Series
Engine Hp: up to 2,000+¹
Once-piece design is more compact and light weight.

* Ideal for street muscle cars
* Quiet operation
* Self priming
* Continious duty
* No pump shaft seals, no leaks
* Pump body CNC machined aircraft aluminum
* High-torque custom motor with very low current draw. Never requires stepdown
* More efficient than other motors
* Double support bearings
* Rebuildable to as-new condition
* Compact design fits in smaller spaces
* Smaller than competive pumps, lower current draw, more powerful
* Hard anodized, long lasting finish
* Mounting bracket included
* Vertical or horizontal mount
* Polymer wear plates for smooth, quier operatio

How could it possible be not self priming? It sucks fuel from the tank on when it starts up.
Anyways this is one hell of a pump. A little noisy but not really loud next to the 4" exhaust.

really?

how about this experiment.

Mount that fuel pump anywhere except below the fuel cell/Fuel tank. My guess is that it more than likely will die a horrible death after a while. ;) Self priming means exactly that. If there is nothing but air between the fuel pump and the fuel tank and you put a line between them. Without having to do anything else, the fuel pump will actually pull the fuel even if the fuel pump is above the fuel tank.

I know of a FEW really self priming (ie can be mounted anywhere to include above the fuel cell)fuel pumps. BUt what do I know, the fuel pump in question might but the price is to close to a Weldon 2025 to be experimenting with.
Magnafuel says the pro-tuner 750 (similar to the 625) Will in fact self prime.

It can be mounted up to 12 inches above the fuel level. They did mention that any cavitation does adversely affect the life of the pump. Ideal mounting is below fuel level, but it will self prime up to 12 inches above.
