For whatever reason I dont know why on hell they did not value this supra much ... look at what they did .. used as a motorcade assistance car ...damn ...Decided to fly to Dallas and inspect it. It is an NA auto , no rusts / no accidents on its carfax so in short I drove it 850 miles back to GA in 12 hours straight . Engine and transmission were good but suspensions were bad. It was like they were shaking me for 12 straight hours . A lot of constuction on I20 from TX to GA and pavement wasnt that good. The next day I still felt everything around me whirling around.. lol .. but am happy since there was an addition to my MKIV stallions in my barn.

This stallion will soon get an extreme makeover as time and budget permits. My goal is get it painted Anthracite and put in a built engine with 6 speed.. so my TT Quicksilver has to wait before it goes single and my NA Black Mamba has to wait before it becomes NA-T after all they are both good running cars now .

Watch it as it goes through some extreme makeover ... These are the pictures before I got it...

Glad to see it being restored back to its glory, anytime I've have stubborn decals I've used meguires restore wax and a dewalt buffer comes off pretty quick that way.
will try that thanks ... though surely it will be gone when sanded since I will probably do the prep before painting just to save on the painting cost... I will get it painted after the engine / transmission / drivetrain / wheels makeover

Poor D/FW decals:tear: Wish I would have know about this... I hope you got a great deal on her and good luck with the makeover
It was posted on the Dallas Craigslist for 3 weeks .. was wondering why nobody was grabbing it .. I thought it was junk but after talking to the guy he said it will make it to GA , it has no rust , no history of accident , no dents and clear title so I decided to take a gamble , got a plane ticket to DFW and brought it home... made a straight 12 hours trip so that means engine/drivetrain was good .... he wanted $9.5k but was willling to let go of it for $8k .. I knew rolling chassis alone are already being sold at a premium so I believe it was a good deal ...

Just a fun thought, I would keep all the decals and stickers like that and make it a total sleeper. That would be fun as hell. Btw, very good find man!
lol... good idea for a sleeper.. but the problem is the police in GA will be all over me since the decals are DFW .. Dallas .. out of jurisdiction .. lol ..

Some of you might have seen a thread last year titled "my tt sc300 with v160" by a stephenz. He is a FORMER friend who pretended that the SC project was his and was buying all the stuff. That time I kept quiet just not to embarass him. To make the long story short .. I was fooled by him... after spending so much money on parts he asked me to buy and labor paying him.. came to know that he cannot do the project and was even confirmed by a lot of people who knew him.I don't have to say more about this FORMER friend why the fallout with him.. do your research on him on this site and you will find out why ... people whom he scammed looking for him. I got parts I bought for the project that he never installed and never returned to me also .. like sparkplugs , sparkplug cover, igniter ... I can make a whole list since I have every receipt of what I paid for and did an inventory of what was returned to me...

Now I have a lot of parts I can use on the makeover of this supra. They may not be the best but I have them already so I will make use of whatever I have. What I cannot use will eventually sell in the future.

Here are the pictures of parts I already have now and lifted from that thread

great deal on the supra, can't wait for more pics and info on build.
I believe it was a good deal ... this is the built engine we are installing but as mentioned due to the fallout with stephenz and having known that he didnt really know what he was doing according to his many former friends I am bringing it to the mechanic / shop who will inspect the engine just to make sure...before they install it on this supra
