What sensor are people planning on using? There are so many available, and I don't know which are better suited for automotive applications.

Most cars with forced induction in the US use the GM 3 bar map sensor available at all GM dealerships and many various places online. Part #16040749

The GM 3 bar is the proper one to use. I've used it on a few cars with success. I'm actually using the GM 3 bar now with my VPC. :)
Thanks.

Any ideas on boost control solenoids? I don't trust the stock one.
What do you have to do to get it to fit with the VPC? I'm guessing it doesnt have the same plug right??

Map Sensor

Why would you need to use a map sensor with the vpc? I may be asking a stupid question but if you don't know ask right?

Exactly.

It seems the Max output of the GM Map sensor is a bit off from the HKS Map sensor as well. I was never able to confirm this, but I've had to use the AFC to compensate a bit on various RPMs. This is still a bit backwards since the VPC is calculating off of pressure instead of just RPM...
