How would I measure how much has been taken off my block and head? I searched through the TSRM and can't find the procedue.

u have to measure from the centerline of the crankshaft to the deck, that is the deck height...it should be listed in the TSRM somehwere i would imagine...didn't the shop u had u'r work done at tell u how much was taken off?

i have no idea how to measure the head...

It was a rebuild from ATK, so no they didn't tell me how much was taken off. It was a fully assembled longblock when I got it.

Thanks, what measuring tool would I need to measure deck height with?

I just measured from the piston at top dead center to the deck, then CC'd the head. I then purchased a MHG to optimize quench/squish, etc.
