Built car like that, has to be on a standalone. Every modern standalone has traction control, either ignition cut, fuel cut, or both. You can integrate the DBW into it as well. It’s simple logic comparing drive wheel speed to driven wheel speed. Wouldn’t the traction control step in, and shut it down? Or was traction control disarmed above a certain speed?

I agree, but where would you even start on negotiating a value on something like that, in todays market?

I guess the shop can at least be relieved that it didnt happen a year ago at the peak of the covid market, as replacement cost would be to the moon
