the FD RX-7 dyno'd 332rwhp and weighs 2800lbs

my EVO has an air filter, mbc, full 3" exhaust with bullet muffler and not cat and I tuned it myself. It's probably ~ 300awhp and weighs 3250lbs

the STI is bone stock


when I raced the RX-7 I put so many car lenghts on him at the launch (he was spinning) that he couldn't possibly catch me even though his hp/weight should be much better. (same problem the turbo civic has)

the stock STI is underpowered vs my EVO but when we went from a roll he shifted down to 3rd and I stayed in 4th which is why he initially pulled me from a low speed roll but if you watch carefully I started to walk before we shut down.
