I have built top and bottom 95 supra, I changed the oil the other day I seen that there was metal shavings on the drain plug. The engine has around 5000km on it. Car sounds normal. No knocks or ticks. Do you guys think it could a bearing or just left over from machining and unproper cleaning?

No it wasn't copper by the looks of it. I'll have to cut the filter open when I'm home next. Just kind of wondering if there's a chance I'll need a rebuild. Just got the car so not really impressed if it's something major.

I've always been a fan of placing a big magnet on the oil pan to grab any metal while the oil is circulating, then pull it off when you change the oil again. I hope you find a clean oil filter, if not take it directly to your builder to show them.

depending how hard it's boosted it's just a matter of time before a bearing will spin or a rod will knock.
