I’m in the process of buyin a 2jz-VVTI for the soup but debating on what turbo to go with. I have a Holset HX50w but not sure if I should keep it or invest in a new turbo plus I’m wondering about a few things like what size exhaust manifold I need for it to bolt on, if it’s a good idea to keep it. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I’ll be posting some pics of the turbo in a few hrs if not tomorrow. My goals for the build is 500-600 rwhp daily driver street car hopping I can get this with just basic bolt ons & the supporting mods I dnt want to open the engine if I don’t have to iv seen some vids of guys pushing around 5-6 where I’m aiming. 500 on pump gas 91 Octane & 600 ish on e85...

If it’s a good idea to use it I will rebuild or refresh it there’s no shaft play just rust from sitting so long...
