A shop here in Villa Rica ,Ga. ( Mirror Lake Collision ) stripped latch bolt front passenger side near windshield, and the roof lock. Also somehow front left bolt is fine but the metal round base it tightens up against came unwelded. How can I replace right bolt, and fix the broken piece?Any help would be great! Thanks. Todd

Looks like the weld snapped and it also looks like there might be some corrosion in there, probably from a leaky targa seal.

Take it apart, clean the metal on the left, re-weld it? Then, on the right side perform the same tedious operation except purposefully remove the welds in order to replace the stripped bolt(s). I'm saying this is metal body work.

Sounds kindy pricey and difficult to obtain the parts to repair on MKIV Toyota Supra. I'd definitely involve the shop that caused the damage and their insurer, also your insurance. This is going to cost someone a sum of money. I hope I'm very wrong and it's a simple fix!
