Well I picked up a new CF hood (it was still new/sealed in box) from a local celicasupra.com member that sold his to me, and put it on my car a few weeks ago. I thought Id share some pictures for those of you that dont visit celicasupra.com

I was going to ask how it matches with the black in person, but after seeing the last picture out of direct sunlight, that looks real nice.

Good pick up Maybe that'll help a little and even out some of that immense front end weight.

Looks nice. Glad to hear that they make Carbon fiber for old school rides. They even make CF Trunks and hoods for the aw-11 too.

I noticed CF doesnt photo well in direct sunlight. But looks good! I was thinkin of gettin this hood for my car/cars as well.

no hood pins, I dont like them. I dont need them, it latches just like the OEM hood.

Oh, btw. I had a very high quality CF hood on my Nissan, and it had oem hood latches, and it flew open on me and smashed up the roof of my car and windshield. Just a thought, not saying you should do anything.....just throwing it out there

got it for 500 even, It was still in the box sealed unopened. The guy had it sitting for a while. I'll make sure its closed right so that it wont flip and smash my windshield

Ive seen that happen several times. I personally would get the pins and not take a chance. Its not pretty when it happens at anything over 35mph
