On the parts interchange list it shows that a 2jz cam cover will work with modification onto a 1jz. Does anyone know what this mod is?

Got one coming from toyota. Thanks for the offer. Are you talking about a spare 2j or 1j. I was more courious on what kind of mod.

Alright!! That is great. What about finding Cam seals in the US? From what I Know the 2jz ones will not work. Has anyone found a USDM seal that works?

The 2j Ones fit great. Thanks. No issues with them going on. Now it wont be started for a few weeks so I wont be able to tell you about leaks, but I am not worried.
