Hey,

I seem to be having more problems with the re-install of the 1JZGTE.

I have the engine n and running mint apart from a few things.

1) how do you fill the gearbox up with oil?

2) on the powerr steering pump, on the exit pipe there looks to be some mechanical thing that has 2 pressure/vacuum hoses on it. there is one that is connected to from around the throttle body, but where does the other one go / come from?

thanks once again
;)

No.1: gearbox should have a filler plug. You'll need to pump oil into it. Or fill it up through the shifter hole which requires removing the shifter of course.
No. 2: sounds like a power steering idle up valve. Hook the other one up to an intake pipe, air filter pipe before the turbo.

Cheers guys.

The easiest through the shifter hole? It was kinda a mission to get it on there in the first place...
I guess it will be tho eh.

I put the shifter on once the engine and box were sitting on their mounts. i dont really know if that weas the correct way and there was fuck all room to move around in there and sort it out.

but yeah.. will see how i go in a few hours

Cheers again...
