motor out, windows down

alrite so when i started my swap i had my windows down because it was in my garage and easier to go in and out of the car without opening the doors, well now i need the space in my garage and i need to roll the supra out for a few weeks, but the windows are still down, and theres no engine in it. So basically is there anyway to get the windows up so i dont ruin my new recaro interior :)...thanks, JP.

Simple. Take your door panels off, then disconnect your window switches. Take your battery and 2 pieces of wire with both ends stripped and attach 1 end of each wire to a terminal (1 to positive, 1 to negative). The easiest way is to tape them to the terminal using electrical tape. Next, start playing with postive and negative combinations on the connector that would connect to the window control switch. Once you find the right combination, the window will move either up or down, depending on the combination. I had to do this and it took me only a minute to figure out the right combination of ground and hot to get the window to do what I wanted it to.

oh thanks that saved my life, and my interior lol. ill give it a try tomorrow and let you know how it turns out. Thanks again, JP.
No problem. It shouldn't take you more than a couple minutes to figure out the right combo.

yeah i was being impatient and i decided to go out at 11:30pm and give it a try, both windows went up, so now i can finally move it out of the garage and get some progress, thanks again, JP
do you have a body harness in the car?
yeah no thanks on the tarp suggestion, i just redid my interior so i dont want/need and mold or moisture in there. but they windows are up now so its all good :)
my shell had no engine but the body harness was in it. i put a battery in it hooked up the cables and rolled them up. not hard....
