i finally got my aftermarket stereo to operate with my antenna. the only thing is that when i turn the radio on, i can hear the antenna motor working it just doesnt go up. whats up with that? anyone ever have this problem?

Yeah, i had my alpine unit from my Jeep put into my 90T..... antenna didn't go up, so I went back to Circuit City and they fixed it for free

Finally got it to operate? What did you do to get it to operate? And why didn't it work the first time? If you buy the correct harness, it's just a matter of color matching on which wires to splice. Are you sure you got the antenna wire?

Yeah we got that part of the question. I asked you two more questions and you didn't even answer me. If you expect to get answers, answer the questions we ask!

I asked you why nothing happened before? You mentioned you finally got it to work. What was wrong before? What did you do wrong? Did you cross a wire? Not splice it right?

These questions will help me and others maybe help you figure out why you are having this trouble. If you don't want to answer our questions, don't expect answers to yours.

Jeez Trent....lol....
Seems like you might need to disassemble the motor and assess the situation.
If the motor is running then that leaves a mechanical problem as the culprit.
I just removed mine and shaved it. I hate those things.

sorry about that trent.

1st - it didnt work period. no motor no antenna.

2nd - i didnt do anything wrong. it never worked since i got the car.

3rd - i got it to work by going in there and checking everything out. i found out that one of the ground wires wasnt hooked up. i plugged it in and now it works...well the motor does. there is no antenna though.
