Last night i got rear-ended by some drunk in a fucking ford escort that was trying to keep up with the supra crew.What was he thinking and on top of that dis bitch tried to get away from us after hitting me.Can you believe that!!Also i just wanna say thanks to all the people that help me last night.

Civil court and criminal court are two different things. He can settle outside of court for whatever compensation he deems appropriate, and the man will still have to be charged with drunk driving by the state.
