Its run 15 9.7"s now and was making 680whp
Im running a 4 speed dog box and a shep racing transfer case

Damn, You have the same problem as I did in my evo 1 about 150 feet out from the traps she runs out of gear and if you shift in to 5th it will fall out of boost.

Have you thought of trying the standing mile races like Mike Richen with his evo 2? That has to be scary in that car.

Your car is looking real good, The cd9a ce9a is the ultimate evo ever and prolly the most underestimated as well.

Its a 2.4 with a GT35/40 turbo running c16 and 32psi boost, the usual engine mods and head work ect, 4 speed dog box, twin plate clutch, haltech e11 engine management, shep racing transfer case.
So far I have run 15 9.7, 9 9.8's and a heap of 9.9's and well over 200 low 10's
