Well we took my Supra out for the Friday night drags at Firebird and got a few hits in. I have been having tranny trouble and that has not changed. I had a lot of trouble shifting tonight. Looks like the tranny is coming back out.

However on our last pass of the night we managed to get an 8.583@170 out of her. Which as most of you know puts me in third place with the 6speed Supra's and AHEAD OF LYON TOON.:hahano: I may run her on Sunday before I pull the trans, I will let you know. Sure would be nice to move up on the list:) Can you hear the footsteps Darin? :)

Here is the video of the pass, thanks to my son Salim for the great video work:)

Thanks everyone, your congratulations are very appreciated. to answer the question, between the track conditions(crossing center line) and the trans I only made two full passes. First was a 9.4@159 on a very very bad bog and the 8.58@170.

They had just got done running all the street tire cars and trucks and i was trying to give myself something to bite into. So I did the burnout pass the starting line and set the car up on my tracks.

This is a very important point. Between shifting the car right, the adjustments I'm going to make to the launch after what I learned last night and a good track, I see a 8.2 in my future:)

Congrats Again Saad! I still can't believe you can get that car to leave like that on a friday night track. I thought we were going to be down for a bit when you started sliding toward the timers on that second pass. Everyone was bitching about the crappy track all night, and you go out and make a run like that after 100 street cars run. You need to knock that off or we'll never get them to prep the track! :) It's too bad Ryan won't come out and run... would be fun to watch. What was it he said..... "there won't be any record breaking runs on a friday night track"? Guess he might want to re-think his position on that! :) Now go and get that trans fixed.... Congrats again!

Well thank you very much Mark. We have spent a good amount of time on the suspension and as you and others know, its still a IRS:) Funny thing is that more then one person on the forums have looked at my car launching and told me "that my suspension is all wrong" :)

Crazy thing about my 1.36 60 ft is that Jason was holding the boost back so that it would not blow the tires off. Can't wait to go balls out on a good track!!

P.S. How's my grammer:) Just kidding.
