My new E55 Amg

My new beast. 2005 Black on Black. 469hp, 516 ft/lbs. This thing is just plain fast, step on the pedal and off you go, tires spinning away lol. The engine/exhuast note is incredible and at WOT it sounds like a jet.
The time has come to move on from the supra, at least for now but I will be back. I just need to find the time to actually carry out plans for the car instead of leaving them on paper.

Nice, but I do wish they offered an E65. That would be my dream Benz

The E55 is one of my favorite Benzes. They pull so hard.

Very sexy. How does it feel compared to your supra... power, ride. How much power will a supra need to beat the e55 from a roll.

NICE E55! Did you get the pulsating seats. And did you conisder a used 03+ S55 AMG, from what i read it seems that the S55 is about .200 seconds faster than the E55 despite being heavier. Then again for some odd reason all AMG models except for the C and CLK class hit 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.

according to brabus, the e55 is the fastest of the 55-series. i was trading emails w/ a sales rep and he said 'get the e55 if you want the fastest'... of course, this was before the 65-series...

That car is just hot, plain and simple. Black on Black is the best color combo too. Just fit some nice HREs on it now!

I have been there for a while now learning tons about the car. There are a few guys right now taking them down to the low 11's and almost into the 10's which is just crazy for a 4 door family sedan.

Sticker was 87,200, I payed a little over that because of the chrome amg wheels instead of the normal gray ones.

Overall the ride is fantastic and smooth as silk compared to the supra. Down low it makes the supra seem a little slow but at higher speeds I'd say they are about equal. It's so fun being able to floor it at 45 mph and still spin the tires lol

The S65 is actually now the fastest 4 door they make, but then again it costs about $180,000. It's also a little to big of a sedan for me.
