i'll post up pics of it later when i'm done working. but everyone who orders from me will have their injectors tested on this thing. this was just a rough video i threw together to show some of the things its capable of. and the injectors are 100% stock 7mgte injectors, so, all you guys on stock injectors can see what your injectors are up to in your engine =). this was probably one of the most complicated things i've ever built, but it will give me nice results. not to mention the quality of their operation will be assured. i dont use tubes to observe the flow balance of my injectors, i weigh the fluid they flow instead which takes out any human factor in rating them. anyhow, here's the video. enjoy!

Wow that is pretty cool, what are you using for fluid? When you went to 20,000rpm wouldn't that cause the injector to fail due to high heat? Very nice setup though, I can see why it took so much time to build. Nice job

anything that will fit on the bench i can flow test. which is the majority of denso top feeds. the pumps should be able to flow enough for 6 1500+cc/min injectors. if the pumps cant keep up, i'll just test 4 at a time. no problem. or i could always add another pump.

toyzforme:
i use mineral spirits, and its a certain kind. the 20k test does cause them to warm up a little since they're spending so much time on. but i try to make that test quick and also i keep the duty cycle at 50% or less. plus i can use the ecu's software to limit the current that goes to the injectors.

Very Nice indeed

That's an understatement.
Now go do a run in, durability, and longevity testing of your custom injectors to confirm or disclaim all the skepticism.
sure, i'll do that to this next set going out. i'm 100% sure nothing will happen. i guess i'll just make them run high-ish rpm (6k-7k) all day. thing about low impedance injectors is that they can get warm from too much duty cycle. even with current limiting, it still happens. so, that's something to watch out for.

Impressed. You should make another nozzle like we talked about earlier for better atomization.
i really want to look into that when i get the chance to. i've also improved atomization with internal tweaks also, which i caught on video today.

Once again, nice work Juhanis. Good to have someone like you available local. Ill probabaly swing by and have my Densos' flow tested as Im unsure what size they are lol.
sounds good man, i'll be ready whenever you are.

Nice. I'd really like to build something like this at work, we don't have anyone local to do dynamic testing, we have to mail ours out (PITA). We have a local shop that cleans them, but they only do static testing before and after.

I was just reading about this subject on motoiq in an article about all the shifty companies out there that are selling untested and poorly modded injectors that are killing engines. Good to know you won't be one of them. Huge bid of confidence when you can sell the injectors with a custom flow sheet.

i really want to start including like computerized printouts of the injector flow rates and such... maybe i'll have to get a printer and ms excel or something. because i write down what they flow... but it doesnt look professional enough. plus soon, i'll probably start putting my logo on the injectors i do. i'll have to upload a pic of that too, i think that came out real nice!

pictures of it while being built... keep in mind, i'm a student in the ways of electricity. but basically i was building it to be as capable as, or more capable than the asnu machine. i might have posted one or two of these in my expandable fuel injector thread, oh well.

early stages...

after plumbing, and most wiring...

the brain/control box

pretty much done in this one... but i'm sure i'll add things as i need them (like a folding table on the left side!)
