I let them soak in solvent and used a wire brush to get all of the crap off, sandblasted, cleaned off with warm simple green then painted with SP117 Flat Aluminum Engine Paint. I'm missing the center garnish on the tail lights, both the driver and passenger doors and just in front of those.

After all the work making the twins look good, Albert talked me into going single. After trading a few parts he gave me this.

Borg Warner s256, AGP 4960 Anti-surge housing 4" inlet 2" outlet, Master Power .68 A/R Exhaust housing. :wackit:

Ordered a few goodies from DM. After waiting for what seemed like forever they finally came in!

First start!!!!

http://youtu.be/KYdNGlIwn_0

As you can hear the motor isn't firing on all cylinders. The previous owner of the harness was running a 2jz ECU and had the injectors set up for sequential. He said he changed it back to batch for a stock 1j ECU. I couldn't figure out the issue so I pulled car out to run some tests on the wiring for the injectors

Spent at least an hour trying to figure it out when I noticed the check engine light was on and thought I would check codes. When I popped Open the diagnostic box there was a jumper from FP to +B... Took that out and the car ran fine

Second Start!!

Haven't been on here in forever!

Not much has changed with the car but it's slowly getting there. October 2014 my first R154 decided to blow up. Luckily I found one local for $550. Picked it up in my white 87. Taking the trans out of the hatch by myself with blown struts was fun! Set the trans on the ground and started to get the 1J ready to pull out.

And it's back in!

Hello everyone. I just realized I have owned this car for 10 years now. Since It's been nearly 8 years since my last post. I figured I'd hop on and leave an update of whats happened to the car.

Not long after my last post 9/2015 I acquired Stance GR Coilovers a set of Weds Cerberus I wheels. 18x9 +25 / 18x10.5 +6 a silver face 360mm Nardi Classic and a Recaro SR3 Lemans.

Not much happened with the car for a while so fast-forward to the end of 2021. It's time for a style change.

Wasn't really digging this look so new aero it is.

Abflug skirts/spats
Carbon Kaminari wing
Signal covers

Anyone have a LHD Euro mirror to replace my broken one? I'll take a set of Ganadors as well.
