I usually don't make build threads before the build is finished, but I figured what the hell. I'm bored.

1989 Toyota Supra 5-speed N/A. I bought it in December of '07 from the original owner since December of '88. Everything was original. 100% rust free. Car spent it's whole life in Mississippi/Memphis.

2JZGE from a 199? Lexus SC300
Turbonetics 60-1
440cc injectors
SAFC II in conjunction with an AEM wideband
OEM TT Headgasket with ARP studs

The 2JZGE will be ran off of 7MGTE sensors, ECU, and wiring harness.

The block just came back from the machine shop getting the cylinder walls honed and the deck resurfaced. New rings and bearings are on order from Toyota.

Good deal, I see the AFR gauge I sold you in the pictures. I just might have to think about a 2jz-ge swap when I blow up this 7m-gte while playing with the maft-pro LOL

you'll love it... i ran mine that way for a few years. i believe you have to extend the alternator positive wire, and the control wires too. i did the tps too, obviously, and the o2 sensor wire. i think other than those wires, the 7mgte ecu will think its a 7mgte. which i always find funny, especially when the check engine light doesnt come on. my engine was from a 93 sc300, so, its probably just like yours. i didnt even take the valve covers off mine when i installed it, and it has an unknown number of miles. after 2.5 years, its still going strong. what i'm trying to say here, is that yours should last literally forever =P ...and like others have said, welcome back! and good luck.
