are you going to be doing these soon? it would be nice to see what kind of gain you'd get with these mods... keep us posted... i am still going to keep looking at other autozones around here before i ask ryan for the 20mm deep plug. i don't know why no one has it :(
Im happy to see your doing the two mods i told everyone about in the n/a communtity. the egr pipe removal/bloavck and coolant bypass. Anyways you can get the 20mm plug at pep boys. ~XDreamer
Hey XDreamer,

I'm new to the Supraforums and missed the how-to on the two mods you mentioned. (EGR and coolant bypass?) Any chance you could repost it?

Thanks,

Daniel

the finished production version should be on my car by this week... its at MPH Unlimited right now... and was told that the finished version (not the prototype but the exact ones that will be sold) should be in by Monday (hopefully)

so...even if it took them 4 days to install and dyno/or for delays, i should have the complete results by this coming weekend. so any of you so.cal NA's can check them out for yourself at either the SD meet or the LA meet on the 2nd..(havent decided on which one to go yet..) and if anyone wants to go for a ride, you are more than welcome to email me and set up another one of our very short noticed so.cal mini meets.

oh and urmild, i go up to Fremont alot (i was just there on thursday-friday for court, on paseo..) and if you want to check them out before you purchase them, just email me one day and ill tell you when im planning to go up next... well, good luck with your plans and keep us updated, as i will also..

oh and about the upcoming NA-T kit, it will not be street legal for those who asked... but neither are single kits for the TT guys but there are ways to get around the probls...;)
and for whoever asked me about the new eclipse turbo kit for the 4 cylinders.. its $3999 and it comes with new injectors, etc etc.. and it showed a gain of 90hp..if my memory serves me correct..

hey man let me know how the mods go but before you do them i just want to warn you that the aem cam gears have been know for sliping off and leaving people straded on the side of the road. I have heard that JUN and U.D. are pretty good and HKS. I have also heard the if you buy the U.D. crankshaft pully, it will screw some shit up because its not balanced like your harmonic balancer. Let me know how its goes because i'm wanting to do the same stuff to my supra also. good luck and my the force be with you.:bthumb:
Heys guys sorry i have been busy working on my supra :)

anyways the egr mode and coolant bypass mod are in the forum already posted. serach under the n/a section or im me and ill help you out. Im happy i could let you guys in on to it. ~Xdreamer

heres the link to the exact page~Brett

And as for the coolant bypass just disconnect the coolant line running threw the throttle body one of the is in the back right of the throttle body and the other one is on the front right just cap them off and run a adapater plug and longer coolant line into the other side. or just block the two lines. Either way your good. make sure the car is cold. when you do this after you did it run the car up to temp. and make sure there are no leaks. now if you put your hand on the intake manfiold you will see it alot cooler something like 50-60 degree colder even morepossible i didnt have a heat gun handy. anyways every 11 degree less intake temp yields 1 percent horsepower technically. but this has been proven to yield atleast 5-10hp to the wheels .... lol the the little thing mean alot when you dont have a turbo .~Xdreamer
